Monday 2nd Nantes Philippe Peltier saddled the winner of the Finale du Challenge des AQPS (4yos-2400m). In the absence of Royce des Mottes (AQPS-Maresca Sorrento), Révoltée (Grand Seigneur), did not however look the runaway winner of this race. But her jockey Anthony Clement was not too worried. "The trainer had warned me. The filly is hard work to get to put in an effort. She really has a big heart." It is too early to know if the younger sister of Galapagos(AQPS) and Imposant(AQPS) will stand out over the cross country fences of Pau, in the Loire-Anjou Challenge or in the Grand Steeple of Waregem!

Star Conti (AQPS-Smadoun) has already proven himself over fences but he was no less impressive on his return to the flat in the Prix de l'Avenir (3yos-2400m), an important race for 3 year old AQPS horses. The heavy ground worked to the advantage of the son of Smadoun, winner of the Grand Prix de Nantes. "He has no objective for now," said Guillaume Macaire. "If the ground is very heavy, he will go for the Jacques de Vienne scheduled this year at Saint-Cloud (the 24/11 )."
