Tuesday 29th June 2010, Auteuil. The €50,000 Prix Al Capone II Chase (4yos AQPS horses-3,700m) saw Still Loving You (AQPS- Poliglote) beat Sir Dream (AQPS - Dream Well) by three quarters of a length, with Sam Light (AQPS - Fragrant Mix) a further 6 lengths behind in third place. Still Loving You won two hurdle races last summer at Clairefontaine.

Thursday 24th June 2010, Auteuil. Saccageur (AQPS-Discover d'Auteuil) took a magnificent second place, when beaten only a neck in the €150,000 Prix la Perichole Chase (4yos-4,100m Gr.3). He has now achieved a total of five wins, three places and earnings of €100,000.

Rubis d'Albain (AQPS-Ragmar) won the €50,000 Prix du Bearn Chase (5yos-4,100m) by an impressive 8 lengths. He came here of an equally impressive 10 length win over fences 15 days earlier over the same track in the Prix de Brissac. His previous performances include his first start on the flat as a 3 year old followed by two places over hurdles as a 4 year old.

The €46,000 Prix Pharaon Hurdle (4yos-3,600m) featured a 6 length win by Sourire Aux Lèves (AQPS-Robin des Champs). Seabreeze d'Ho (Enrique) took second place while back in third place was Sarisland (Aqps-Martaline), who was having his first start at Auteuil. Sourire aux Lèvres is out

Thursday, June 17th 2010, Nantes. In the €25,000 Grand Prix des AQPS (AQPS only 2,400m), the heavy favourite Royal d'Arc (AQPS - Aqps, Le Triton) easily prevailed to win by 2,5 lengths. Twice a winner and a Listed placed at Auteuil, Royal d'Arc won his sixth flat race and was second to Quisful Tercah (AQPS - Useful) in last year's Prix de Craon at Longchamp, the AQPS' Arc. He's trained by the shrewd Eric Leray. Royal d'Arc was bred by the Terriere family's SCEA Le Fragneau, in Charente-Maritime, a three dams-strong breeding operation which only deals with Leray. His dam Lextrienne (AQPS - Neustrien) is a half sister of Pandolphe (AQPS - Passing Sale), fifth in the 2009 Grand Steeple

Tuesday 15th June 2010, Auteuil. The €60,000 Prix Xavier de Chevigny Chase (AQPS 5yos+ - 4,400m) was won by Thierry Doumen's Quaniel (AQPS-Thames). She finished 5 lengths ahead of Guy Cherel's charge Renard (AQPS - Discover d'Auteuil) who took second place. Two lengths behind in third was Riri Mag (AQPS -Vidéo Rock).

At 6 years of age, this was Quaniel's first ever win from 19 runs in total. From her five starts in 2010, on the last four she has fallen once and been pulled up three times making this win quite unexpected.

Quaniel's dam, Janville II (AQPS - Dear Doctor), was unsuccessful on her only two starts and has produced only one other offspring, Ohe Lancelot (Baby Turk) who has won two cross country races.

Friday 11th June 2010, Auteuil. No emergency for Sortie de Secours.

"She has a lot of class!" Guy Cherel didn't need many words in order to describe Sortie de Secours (AQPS-Trempolino) after her success in the €85,000 Prix Christian de Trédern (L- 4&5yos-3,600m). The representative of Haras de Saint Voir was clearly head and shoulders above the other 11 mares in the race. "She made a small mistake at the last hurdle and took some time to get things back on track afterwards", explained her trainer. "She is not a very big mare but she gives her all." In six starts, Sortie de Secours has won three times, finished second twice and unseated her jockey on her other start.

Sat on the heels of the leaders, Sortie de Secours accelerated on the far side before taking the lead coming off the last bend and was never challenged thereafter despite the strong finish of N'Oublie Jamais (Loup Solitaire). These two mares finished 8 lengths ahead of their nearest rival, . On the 30th of April, Sortie de Secours and N'Oublie Jamais met for the first time in the Prix d'Arles. On that occasion Sortie de Secours beat Jean-Paul Gallorini's charge by six lengths. However on Friday the distance between the two was reduced to only one and a half lengths.

Bred by her owners, the Haras de Saint Voir, Sortie de Secours is the sixth of seven of her unraced dam, Briffault (Olmeto), offspring to have appeared on a racecourse. Five of these have already won, including Hard Rock (Video Rock), who won the Prix Edmond Barrachin (Gr3) when trained by Guy Cherel.

Francois-Marie Cottin's charge Quatre Bleue (SF-Cyborg) was successful in the €50,000 Prix du Perray Chase (5yo+ Mares-3,700m) in the hands of Phillip Carberry. Mine Lointaine (Antarctique) was a close second a neck behind the winner with Chausey (Cadoudal) a further three lengths behind in third place.

This was the winner's first run back since January of this year when she was up at Cagnes-sur-Mer, as was also the case on her last run of 2009. It was the third success of her career and the first over fences as all her other wins have been over hurdles.

Monday 7th June 2010, Auteuil. Winner from family of Azertyuip.

The one to watch in the €50,000 Prix Ginetta II Chase (AQPS-4yos-3,500m) was Saccageur (AQPS - Poliglote), a son of Ellapampa (AQPS - Pampabird), who is a sister of champions Bipbap (AQPS -Dom Pasquini) et Azertyuiop (AQPS -Baby Turk). Saccageur was the only one of the fourteen runners to be making his chasing debut and having on his first run of the season over jumps. These two factors could have led to an unhappy first time over chase fences but although the start of the race didn't exactly go to plan, Saccageur made up ground on the far side to be among the leading group on turning into the straight. "I didn't think that it was possible for him to win after all the effort he had put in during the race", confided the winning breeder Pierre de Maleissye Melun. "I am delighted with his performance, David Cottin rode him perfectly." In the end Saccageur passed the post two and a half lengths ahead of nearest rival Slow Game (Al Namix), who was once again deprived of his first chasing win by a "Macaire" representative. Sweet Sugar (Loup Solitaire) took third place a further five lengths back after having been very wound up in the parade ring and keen during the race.
